Ready-to-Lay: Midnight Majesty Marans
The Midnight Majesty Marans have black plumage and most hatch with feathered feet, but some do not. Deep browns show up through their down feathering underneath, making them a mix of beautiful dark brown and black plumage. This breed will lay dark brown eggs and will lay a lot of them! You will truly enjoy this breed in your backyard flock and its dark eggs in your egg carton! These hybrids perform well in many different climates. Pick-up for all Ready-to-Lay birds will be on February 15, 2025 at Russell Feed & Supply in Saginaw from 8AM - 10AM. At this time, your hen(s) will be 18 weeks of age which is when most hens lay their first egg. In their first year, you can expect up to 250 eggs from high-producing, well-fed backyard chickens.
From the time you purchase your chicks you will be sent weekly updates on the progress of your chicks, videos of their growth, as well as tips and tricks to prepare you for their homecoming.
